About Services Stack Let's talk
Have you tried turning it off?

Small scale.
Clean code.
Largely functional.

PocketBuilt delivers professional proof-of-concepts for teams who value code quality, proper CI/CD, and getting things done without seventeen layers of management asking if we've considered the blockchain.

We write code
we're not embarrassed by.

PocketBuilt is a boutique software development initiative of some renown — well, we find it renownful. We specialise in small-scale, professional proof-of-concepts, built properly from the outset. No shortcuts. No spaghetti. No commentary from a junior who once read half a Medium article about microservices. Just precise, well-structured software that demonstrates your idea is viable before anyone spends real money on it.

We are proudly technology-agnostic, which is a diplomatic way of saying we have opinions but will keep them largely to ourselves. Our deepest expertise lives in the .NET ecosystem — Blazor, MAUI, and the assorted neighbours — though if it ships genuine value, we'll build it. Probably with tests.

Clean Code
Readable, maintainable, and unlikely to make future developers weep at their desks. Every line earns its place.
🚀
CI/CD First
Pipelines established at the start, not bolted on later in a mild panic. Automated builds, tests, and deployments — by default, not by accident.
💬
Communicative
No mysterious black-box development followed by a dramatic reveal. We keep you informed throughout. Some find this reassuring.
❤️
Passion Driven
We genuinely enjoy software. This enthusiasm manifests in what we ship, and occasionally in unsolicited opinions about indentation.

From idea to working prototype. More or less on schedule.

We take your concept and construct a focused, professional proof-of-concept that demonstrates real value — clean, tested, pipeline-ready, and presented with a straight face.

🔬
Proof of Concept
Validate your idea with a working, production-quality prototype. Deliberately small in scope, precise in execution — sufficient to secure stakeholder confidence, a green light, and possibly a round of applause from someone in middle management.

CI/CD Pipelines
Automated build, test, and deployment pipelines tailored to your workflow. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps — configured correctly, documented clearly, and handed over without any theatrical gesturing at the complexity involved.

Architecture Review
A second pair of eyes — experienced, constructive, and tactful — applied to your codebase or design. We identify issues, suggest improvements, and respect the conventions you've already established. Even the questionable ones.

Technology agnostic.
Opinionated where it matters.

We adapt to your ecosystem without drama. Our deepest roots are in the .NET world, but we are entirely comfortable across the full modern stack. We have strong feelings about a few things and will mention them only once.
